Aren't they adorable? My uncle's Golden Retriever had SIXTEEN puppies over the weekend. Bless her heart....she had such a rough go. She had two on her own on Saturday, but was unable to deliver the rest. They loaded her up and took her to the vet where they did a c-section. Needless to say they are going to be very busy in the upcoming weeks.
Sixteen?!! wow I didn't think dogs could have that many. Bless her!
ReplyDeleteI know Jessica. The vet told my uncle that he has NEVER seen it before with Golden Retriever's. One little guy isn't doing so well though. My mom is there helping along with several of her brothers. They have him on a heating pad, and they are having to help feed the puppies to make sure they are getting enough to eat.
